In her own words:
Off and on since 2002, I’ve been writing short essays and poems about my life, an ordinary life filled with precious memories. It has given me great pleasure to remember, reflect and record.
This volume includes stories about my family and what it was like growing up in the village of Baynesville, Maryland. It also tells the story of the many adventures I had with Don, the love of my life, and our two children, as well as some musings and lessons learned along the way.
Most of these pieces are not profound or intellectual. They simply tell the story of Little Evelyn as she grew up and ventured forth into the world, remembering her roots along the way and experiencing some wonderful things.
